ng4T is CORD collaborator

In April 2017 CORD on-boarded ng4T as the chosen load test tool for Evolved Packet Core.
For Research and Development ng4T has provided a time limited copy of its state of the art RAN vTester to enable the CORD community to evaluate the benefit of radioless test environment for the CORD project.
In 2018 ng4T welcomes MARINER with its sonar4 among the ng4T customer community.

ng4T live at MWC 2017

We would like to thank all our customers, partners and friends who visited our booth in Hall 6.
We hope you all enjoyed our show cases and demos on testing network slicing, VNF and telco cloud.
A special thank you goes to our technology partners Intel, Luxoft and Travelping.
Without their support and willingness to go the extra mile, our show cases would not have that thrilling and advance.

ng4T becomes and ETSI member

ng4T contributed as subject matter expert in various ETSI projects since quite some time.
In 2016 ng4T did become a fully qualified ETSI member.
"With it's test platform and it's subject matter expertisee, ng4T can actively contribue NFV, MANO and Protocol Conformance Testing." says Jens Irrgang, at Sales Director ng4T.

ng4T in India

ng4T started to explore the need of the Indian market for it's test platform in 2014.
"After having build up our local reprentative Primeasure we were able to enter the Indian market and launched our products successfully," says Andreas Kallmann, ng4T CFO
"We won a major Indian operator and a Cloud RAN equipment manufacturer as customer and booked our first substantial orders throughout 2015."

NSN achieved the world’s first 2.6 Gbps throughput over a single TD-LTE cell

NSN showcased unprecedented speeds at Mobile World Congress 2014.
Using its commercially available Flexi Multiradio 10 Base Station and an NG40 EPC load test emulator, NSN’s Mountain View facility in California beat the previous 1.6 Gbps record and demonstratied the achievement at MWC 2014.
The 2.6 gigabits per second (Gbps) throughput end to end traffic were generated by an external applicaiton server and transmitted over SGi, through the NG40 EPC emulator over S1-U and a single sector to real UEs.

IBM - Competance in an ERA of SMART

IBM illustrated the latest developments in NFV. The IBM Smart Cloud Orchestrator is managing the instance of the vEPC as well as the vNG40 LTE RAN for preproduction testing. Novelty is that the configuration and metadata data of the Orchestrator are used to create and control the NG4T virtual network tester vNG40 for ad-hoc sanity checks of virtual network functions, routing and service chaining.

Intel - End-toEnd NVF: vEPC Service Orchestration

Intel presented it’s processors and network cards as platform for NFV with an orchestrated virtual EPC (vEPC). The vEPC was supplemented by an NG40-RAN, generating user plane and control plane traffic to verify vEPC functionality.

ng4T honoured as "German Innovation Champion"

Every year the German development bank KfW recognizes the achievements of German Start-Ups. All companies not older than 5 years with successful business record can participate. The jury is staffed with high-ranking representatives from politics and industry. One company of each federal state is awarded.
The state of Berlin winner is ng4T.

The 16 regional winners competed in 3 different categories for a national title.
The victory in the category "Innovation" goes to ng4T as well.

ng4T and JDSU at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

It is always a challenge to generate real-world traffic during exhibitions. JDSU presented PacketInsight in Barcelona, a real-time network monitoring solution and diagnostics tool. The show was supported by ng4T and its leading edge 3G/4G traffic generator.

NG40-RAN models user activity, while NG40-CORE emulates MME, SGW, HSS and provides interfaces to external networks. PacketInsight was stressed with heavy load via S1-C and S1-U interface. NG40-RAN offers various traffic models, including abnormal and prohibited user behavior. The audience got a realistic impression about PacketInsight and its applications, such as KPI's, troubleshooting, network optimization and security forensics.

Your Evolved Packet Core in the cloud

Is there a way to test 4G procedures and services with my own Radio Access Equipment?

4G Core is still expensive and not commonly available. ng4T therefore offers an inexpensive virtual Evolved Packet Core (EPC) as a new service. Manufacturers of indoor cells, Universities, test labs and mobile application developpers can now run a private 4G network without the burden of heavy investment.
